Dear Parents and Guardians:
The NSMS PAC and staff have arranged to have Social Media Safety talks at our school. Students will have an assembly during the school day. That evening we are inviting parents out to hear Darren Laur speak about the ever changing world of Social Media and how we can make sure that our children are using Social Media safely. Darren is a serving law enforcement professional with over 27 years of experience, an internationally recognized safety expert, published award winning author and highly sought after public/keynote speaker who specializes in the area of Personal Safety.
The PAC is accepting donations at the door to help offset the cost. The evening is designed for Middle School parents, but we would also like to invite grade 4 and 5 parents from Deep Cove, KELSET and Sidney Elementary Schools. Please join us on Thursday evening at 6:30 PM in our MPR.
