Tuesday, September 7th – First day of School for Grades 1-5
Students are in attendance from 8:40-10:15
RETURNING STUDENTS:
Please proceed to last year's exterior classroom door at the 8:40 bell
NEW STUDENTS TO SIDNEY:
Please meet in FRONT OF SCHOOL at the 8:40 bell
Our new students will be given an introduction/welcome and taken to a grade-appropriate classroom
DISMISSAL TIME:
• Dismissal will be at 10:15
• District School Bus leaves at 10:30
• New students will be dismissed at the front of the school
Wednesday, September 8th
Grades 1- 5 students return to the exterior doors of the classrooms they were in on Tuesday
NEW CLASSES:
We hope that students will move to their 2021/22 classrooms by Thursday. Enrollment may have fluctuated over the summer and final student placements may need to be reviewed. We will make every effort to have students in their new classes as soon as possible. Placements are determined carefully and thoughtfully.

Kindergarten students do not attend on Tuesday, September 7th. The first day of Kindergarten is Wednesday, September 8th.
Please see your welcome letter (delivered by mail in July) for more information on your gradual entry schedule. Please meet your kindergarten teachers at your assigned time on the north side of the school building next to our bike racks.
