ÍY, SȻAĆEL Good Day!

Students are not in session on Monday. Staff in all Saanich Schools will be participating in professional development activities in Indigenous Education. We look forward to sharing the learning with our students. If you would like to learn more about the First Peoples Principles of Learning that will guide our work you can find them here: http://www.fnesc.ca/wp/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/PUB-LFP-POSTER-Principles-of-Learning-First-Peoples-poster-11x17.pdf

Wednesday, September 30 is Orange Shirt Day. Staff and students are invited to wear an orange shirt to honour and recognize Indigenous children that were taken away from their families to attend residential schools in Canada and to affirm our commitment that EVERY child matters.
