We are off to a great start to the school year. Many of our classes have been out in our garden and harvesting the vegetables that were planted last year. We are also settling in to our outside play times and enjoying time outside together.
At Sidney Elementary, we want to have our students out in the fresh air and enjoying their recess and lunch breaks with active play. We simply have too many rainy days to stay in every time we get a little rain so please make sure that your children arrive with appropriate footwear and outerwear for the day's forecast.
A reminder that next week we have two early dismissal days. Students will be dismissed at 1:48 on Wednesday Sept. 22 and Thursday Sept. 23. Our school bus will pick up at 1:48.
Our amazing PAC is hosting a “no sort” bottle drive on Sept 25 from 9-1 at our front parking lot. Thank you in advance for your support!
One more note… we found a pair of small child sized purple glasses on our field. If you think they belong to your child, please pick them up from our front office.
