A reminder to all families about our morning routines at Sidney Elementary:
8:00-8:35 - Students may choose to join us in the gym for our “Bee-Active Mornings” Please enter by the exterior door closest to the gym with the ramp. Doors open at 8 am, we do not offer supervision before that time. We will send out a Bee Bulletin by 7:30 to let parents know if our Bee Active morning is cancelled. The purpose of our mornings is to have students “Bee Active” and get ready for their school day in a safe way. Please note that the doors to the gym close at 8:15 so that all students in the gym can begin their activity and be safely supervised. Students may not enter the gym after 8:15.
8:20-8:35 - Students may come to the PAC kitchen to enjoy a smoothie prepared by our PAC. Students may not be in other areas of the school during this time.
8:25-8:40 - Outdoor Supervision. Students may play outside on the front playground or be by the bike rack area. We do not have morning supervision on the new playground or gaga ball court so students may not be in those areas before school without parent supervision.
8:35- Warning Bell rings. At 8:35 we welcome students into the school. Teachers are very busy getting ready for the day before that time, so we appreciate students and families waiting until the warning bell to enter the school.
