Elementary will be conducting a lockdown drill on Monday, May 27 @
10:00 am with the help of our school RCMP Liaison officer, Constable
Meighan Depass. Lockdown drills are conducted to increase student and
staff preparedness to respond in the event of a situation requiring
the school to take lockdown measures. Saanich School District
requires one lockdown drill to be completed yearly.
Teachers
will discuss with students the procedures that need to be taken and
debrief after the exercise.
