We have received an EXCELLENT opportunity for you to get expert guidance in how to support your child in learning to read.
Professor Orla Colgate of the Gustavson School of Business and the University of Victoria will be hosting three workshops at Sidney Elementary School on Wednesdays in November (14, 21, 18) from 6:30-8:00.
The content of these workshops is geared towards families of children from Kindergarten to Grade 2-how to help your child be a determined learner, information on how children learn to read, and specific strategies to help your child when they are reluctant or stuck. All of these sessions are free of charge.
