Please
help us to reduce the number of cases of head lice in students who
attend our school. This video provides valuable information about the
life cycle of lice and how they transfer from person to person. Most
importantly it demonstrates the best method for checking for and
treating lice. Nit/bug combs similar to those mentioned in the video
can be found in your local drug store/pharmacy. It is extremely
important that your child's head is checked weekly; not all children
have an itchy scalp when they have lice.

If you have already treated your child for lice, you must
continue to do so on a regular basis every three to four days for two
weeks. Any young lice that hatch from eggs after the first session are
removed at the second, third and fourth sessions. This is why it is
important to do the full four sessions.
