Greetings Sidney Elementary Parents,
This email is to remind you about the upcoming neighbourhood walkabout on Tuesday February 21 from 7:30-9:30 am for the Active and Safe Routes to School Program. We’ll
go for a short neighbourhood walk to look at concerns that were
identified in the take-home surveys followed by a debrief discussion. We
will have municipal staff, school district staff, local law enforcement
and island health representatives there to discuss solutions to
identified challenges.
Your suggestions will help shape Sidney’s School Travel Planning actions for the future.

will have clipboards and comment forms for the walk - so if you are not
able to attend the full meeting you can still contribute your comments
and I will include them in the summary.
